Infrastructure and energy transaction advisory
OGZ Ventures supports project sponsors and businesses preparing infrastructure and energy opportunities across Africa and the GCC. We help turn a proposed transaction into a clearer commercial proposition, with the scope and responsibilities agreed in a private advisory mandate.
From project concept to a workable transaction
A project needs more than a headline capital requirement. Sponsors need to explain the asset, development stage, counterparties, commercial assumptions and decisions needed to move forward. Our advisory work can help organise those elements before discussions with prospective partners.
What an engagement can cover
- Project preparation: organising the project brief, available studies, development milestones and information gaps.
- Transaction structuring: reviewing commercial relationships, proposed contractual roles and alternative transaction frameworks.
- Commercial strategy: clarifying revenue assumptions, delivery dependencies and the proposed route to market.
- Partnership preparation: developing a clear proposition and materials for authorised counterparty discussions.
- Execution support: maintaining an agreed action register, document requirements and decision milestones.
Infrastructure, power and cross-border projects
The scope may relate to power generation, energy technology, transport or industrial infrastructure. Each opportunity is assessed on its own facts. Technical studies, independent valuations, legal advice and specialist diligence remain the responsibility of appropriately appointed professionals where required.
What to include in your first enquiry
Please describe the country, sector, project stage, sponsor, commercial objective and the support sought. A short non-confidential summary is sufficient initially. Do not upload identity documents, bank records or confidential project files through the public enquiry form.
A clear mandate before work begins
Following an initial scope review, we can provide the appropriate mandate and a mutual NDA privately. Fees and any negotiated terms must be agreed in writing. The applicable signed mandate governs the engagement. Advisory work does not guarantee funding, an introduction or completion of a transaction.
