Babajide Ogundipe Chairman
Babajide Ogundipe was called to the Nigeria Bar in July 1979. In 1989, along with three colleagues, he founded the firm of Sofunde, Osakwe, Ogundipe and Belgore, which grew to become one of Nigeria’s leading commercial litigation firm. Alongside his work as a litigator, he also practised as an arbitrator, serving as the chairman of the Nigerian branch of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators from 2006 to 2009 and as the first president of the Lagos Court of Arbitration, from 2010 to 2014. He was also an active member of the International Bar Association’s anti-corruption and regulation of lawyers’ compliance committees for several years.
He retired from his law firm in December 2025, and now acts as a consultant to the firm, as well as continuing his arbitration practice.
Olatunde Ogundipe Director
Managing director Soob compliance and advisory services limited; Olatunde Ogundipe is an investigator/analyst with Sofunde, Osakwe, Ogundipe & Belgore. He studied law and electrical and electronic engineering at Essex University and Loughborough University, respectively. Prior to joining the firm in 2018, he had been conducting investigations on a contractual basis for 7 years.

Managing Director
With more than fifteen years of cross-border experience spanning finance, investment advisory, and creative-sector development, Babafemi Ogundipe has led OGZ Ventures through its evolution from a brand consultancy into a multi-jurisdictional advisory platform.
He oversees all structuring mandates, investor relations, and strategic partnerships.
His expertise covers trade finance, asset tokenisation, and structured project funding, particularly in energy, infrastructure, and creative IP.
